The Interior Painting

Interior painting is done! What?! The walls are covered in a sheet of Super White paint from Benjamin Moore, our preferred paint company. We used their Natura line, which has no VOC's and requires minimum coats. If you are serious about paint, you should also check out their Aura line. It is amazing!

Taking a nod from contemporary design we made our walls smooth, with 90 degree corners. Our painter, Dwight Spots, used a spray application, which is a great method if you have walls without texture, like ours.

This phase has been a great time for us to examine our nature lighting. I am happy to report that the lighting is abundant! We even had to paint our ceiling flat instead of having sheen like the walls because there was TOO much reflection. Keep in mind that all of these evaluations have occurred without any electrical lights, because we don't have power yet. The white walls just emphasis our natural lighting even more. Phew.

Our painting had to occur before our kitchen cabinets could be installed, which means, they have arrived! Look out!
