It's up! Friends of the blog will sense that our enthusiasm for this project has been lackluster. Allow me to explain.
It's not that we aren't excited about the shelf, it's just that there are more pressing projects than this. We only started it because we couldn't make decisions on the big projects, and Ty had access to a shop!
Let's remember this piece is less about storage and more about having a place to display some personal items. Also, we don't own those personal items. (Drawers are empty.)
So, we have a little more work ahead of us. I'm putting together some wedding photos and frames, there's a plan for some hooks to the right, and I'd love to find a large, round, affordable, colorful, wool basket for the floor. Find me one? Updates to follow.
