Lower Level Floors

The marine-grade mahogany plywood floors have migrated to the lower level. The floors in the bedroom, hallway, linen closet, and bathroom(!) are now installed. We love this product. It has turned out so well.

As stated earlier, this plywood easily met our budget at just $1.25 a square foot. Yet, on a recent trip to a plywood warehouse, we noticed that sheets of this same plywood were selling for $100 dollars MORE than what we paid. What?! We are suddenly seeing our floors in a new light as the Ou-La-La FANCY plywood. (Yes, fancy plywood is ironic.)

So what does this mean? We didn't know we had SUCH a deal. A local supplier had too much on his hands and was looking to get rid of it. Fire sale style. We'd like to continue this product on our headboard, stairs, and bathroom vaniety, but only if we are able to find it again at the bargain-basement price.
