This Weekend + Door Color

Folks, this weekend we will be doing our final preparation for the upcoming painting session.  I'm talking sliding doors, the kitchen backsplash, and (in a surprising turn of events) the master bedroom closet doors.

So, what color did I decide on for the sliding doors?

White.  I told you!  Safety school.  You see it's all about light, which is what I value most in our space.  White is going to give us the maximum amount of light and also live in harmony with what we already have established.  I was afraid it was going to be boring, but the flip side of that is I don't want to have doors that are so distracting that people remember our home as "the house with the green doors".  I'd rather have them walk away remembering our house as "that thing" or the "stilted mobile home". See?  Much better.

Meanwhile, I got this for my birthday.  Pretty excited about it.
