The FLOR Faux Hide

Blog readers, I don't like to think of myself as flaky, but when it comes to committing to a rug for our living room, I am literally shopping around.

The latest of my liaisons is FLOR's faux hide rug.  Yes, it is carpet squares of your choosing cut into the shape of an animal hide.  HILARIOUS, right?

The attraction of this faux hide in discussion is the playful shape.  Its less attractive features?  Well, you might wake up one day and think that this is weird.  Unless you already do.  (Understandable.....)  

The rug is about 7' in diameter.  It comes in 60 color options and retails for around $275.  Not bad in terms of rugs (but it's carpet).

It's much more noncommittal than a $1200 rug.  Oh, how long will this flirtation last?
