The Windows on the North Side

Oh, Hello there! Come on in (since this will be our future front door). Let me take you on a tour of some of our windows.

When I mentioned earlier that we only had one window facing Wall Street for a reason, this is how we are making up for it. Check out this space! Imagine this 19-foot space in all glass, with two slider doors that open up 8-feet wide! Light! We can hardly wait for the fresh breezes over dinner, as well as the privacy. It looks out onto our property with lots of trees and peaceful greenery, instead of traffic, etc. Oh, and in case this sort of thing matters to you, there is a little deck too.

Perspective is everything. My husband is 6'2" so, yeah, the space is big.

This window will be a lovely cutout to bring in some greenery. It starts at about 5-feet, so bring your heels if you want a good look out, or get in the kitchen to see what the view was made for.

This second silly little window is very low to the ground, and has two functions: if you are standing in the kitchen, or taking off your shoes in the entryway, it allows you to see all the way to the ground outside. (Toddlers and pets benefit too.)

Did I mention the visual interest from the outside?
