As a result our house was ready for some roof work.
The roof trusses were brought in and installed.
What a difference a day makes.
Next the sheeting went on the roof trusses. View from the top of the roof! (No, Dad, I did not go up on the roof to take this picture. Tyler did.)
From the front door, now enclosed!
Before insulation was going to go in the ceiling, we had to cut out skylight holes. Ty in action can be seen on the last post. Nice results!
Finally, spray foam insulation was applied to our ceiling.
Voila! Hartanov House!
Next, we'll be getting into design decisions. (My favorite!)

ReplyDeleteGenerally, wood trusses are used for homes whereas the stringer steel trusses are used in commercial buildings, which require larger amount of space, both in terms of area and height.
