I Ordered a Soap Dispenser and Received Shopper's Remorse

There are some items that I have trouble paying for.  A kitchen soap dispenser is one of them.  We have a hole in our countertop reminding us daily that we are avoiding the issue.

  

According to Home Depot's website, the majority of prices for this item range from $50 - $100.  This does not seem to rhyme with economic crisis.  

Equally as challenging - finding an affordable soap dispenser that is also "chrome" and of "contemporary" status.  That last part usually bumps up the price about $20.  

We finally caved and bought this one for half price from some shifty website called, "Amazon".  It better meet my hopes and dreams.  It's supposed to match our faucet and calm my remorse with its' forward thinking name, Contempo.

Please.

Minds and pocketbooks should not be wasted on soap dispensers.  Today is the exception.
