Welcome to the property! This lovely little spot caught our attention right away, as well as our budget. With two sides of the property nestled into a walking park, this piece of property features natural grasses, an old gnarly willow, and a rather large basalt outcropping. Our property is just over a 1/3 of an acre in North Spokane, a ½ mile away from Whitworth University. It is situated on Mountain View Lane, a quiet street that features more walkers than cars.
How could this great spot be so affordable as well as available? A 6 % grade. Yes, folks this property has got some slope to it. As with many cities past their development prime, available lots are available for a reason. Our search for a potential building site had us choosing between “What’s worse?”. In this case sketchy neighborhoods, freeway noise, and CCR’s were worse than a slope.
